How Do You Get Black Hair to Dye Back a Different Color Like Red? 1

1. Semi-Permanent hair dye, can I re-dye before its all gone?

Re-dying your hair is perfectly okay. In the future, wash your hair in cool water, and it wo not fade as much with each wash. Washing your hair every 2 days will also help

2. HENNA HAIR DYE DISASTER (lush) PLEASE HELP?

Okay, calm down. The stain created by henna takes up to 72 hours (3 days) to mature. SO it will get darker over the next couple of days, trust me I use henna to dye my hair. Now, if in a couple of days you still do not like your hair colour you can either put more henna on (I use either rouge for red or noir) which will darken the stain. Or you can try a chemical dye. Henna is a translucent stain, so its hard to get rid of, but it wont hurt your hair. SO you can only really go darker for now, as bleaching wont work very well, if anything you will go more ginger.

3. Can you use semi-permanent hair dye after a relaxer/straightening perm?

No definately not!! prob go green hehe Your dealing with alot of chemicals that dont mix. Remember sience class when you mixed those wrong amount together and it ate through the desk :) Nuh not that bad. But definately dont do. Always talk to the stylist that does your hair. They should know what chemicals that have been used. Thus what can be done. good luck!

4. How long does permanent hair dye last?

Hair grows at the rate of half an inch a month, therefore in three years the colour will have grown out by 18 inches from the roots. Hope this helps.

5. What brand of (NEON) hair dye was used in Shear Genius?

I've never seen Shear Genius, but I went through a 3 year spell when I would dye my hair all sorts of crazy colors. Special FX - Manic Panic - and Punky Colors by Jerome Russell are my favorites. Special FX and Punky Colors seemed to last the longest for me, but Manic Panic is easier to mix and create custom colors with - Its also usually the easiest to find and cheapest. Special FX is my favorite- the color held much longer for my hair, but all three work well as long as you pre-bleach and can be found online, at some beauty supply stores, or chains like Hot Topic. Most wo not harm your hair like most commercial dyes, but you WILL need to bleach the hair you intend to dye first. This allows for the color to take hold in the shaft and creates a much more vibrant finish. Using a color sealer and color safe shampoo/conditioner will help your look last. If you mix in a small amount of the dye (providing you used the same color all over) in with your conditioner it will freshen your color. For bleaching I recommend going to a beauty supply store and asking an employee, they should be able to help you based on your hair's condition and color. Good luck and have fun!

Will This Semi Permanent Hair Dye Ever Come Out?
Will This Semi Permanent Hair Dye Ever Come Out?
If its semi permanent dye, it will fade somewhat with time. Unfortunately though, there is no way to get your natural color back besides waiting for it to grow out. You could try bleaching your hair, and dying it a color that is close to your natural color. (you must bleach it first) Then when your roots grow in they will look very similar to the color you have.1. What's the best hair dye?I like to dye my hair darker although it has been blonde before and turned out nice2. the hair dye is purple?the actual dye will oxidize to odd shades but its nothing to be worried about, your color should be fine!3. What the best black hair dye?Was it die out of a box? nvr use dye out of a box it leaves metals in your hair that rips your hair to shreds and fades quickly.....my suggestion, go to a beauty supply supply store that carries colors in tubes and in little glass holders, like a sallys or something....once in the store u must choose an activator, they will have activators both cream and liquid. ..if your hair is thick go for a liquid if your hair is thin go for a cream. Always get a larger size so u dont have to re-buy the activator next time....on top of that choose the strength, they come in the strengths 10 volume, 15 volume, 30 volume and 40 volume I believe. ...40 volume is the strongest used for bleaching hair white and the hardest on the hair, 10 volume is the weakest....u should use about a 30 volume...once u get to the colors they have different name brands, lorel clairol and so forth....I usually use the Miss Clairol, the color last a lond time and matches the hair sample the best usually. ....a red base or your hair might turn purple and fades fast, a neurtal base might make your hair dull, a blue base would probably be the best....(you might want to buy to things of color if you have a lot of hair to be sure your whole head gets covered).....then buy a a empty container with a nozzel to apply it with. ...once you get home apply equal parts of activator and color into the nozel containor and then put the lid on and shake it....then apply like usual and then leave on 15-min to a half hour, keep on testing strips of your hair until u decide it is as black as you want.....hope this helps, I have been dying my hair sence I was 8, lol.4. Can you dye clothing with hair dye?this sounds stupid but try it with something old, it might came out in the wash but yeah it would be possible i think5. Hair dye, EMERGENCY!?Well the most effective way would be to bleach it but as you said thats not an option there are some alternative things you can do. Mix vinegar with juice from a lemon, put it on your hair and put a shower cap on. Leave it sit for 20 minutes. Rinse with hot water. If the color is still there then heat virgin olive oil in a pan and do the same as you did with the vinegar and lemon mix but let it sit for 30 mins. Hope this helps.6. Skin Allergy Test for hair dye!?it should tell you on the instructions, normally you mix up a tiny bit of the dyes then apply to a small patch behind ear or back of neck leave for 10 minutes and rinse then wait a day or two to see if you have a reaction. If it's an all over colour my advice would be put loads of vaseline around your hairline as not to stain your skin, squeeze the dye in lines next to your scalp (concentrating on your crown, parting and hairline) and massage in then rub the rest into the length of your hair. Try to get someone else to help you7. Hair dye two days in a row?One of my best friends dyed her hair light brown, then a few days later dyed it back blonde. Her hair looked like a blonde-ish purple. Even if you do not like it, it's way better than purple hair. If it comes out with washings, rinse your hair out a few times a day and it should go away. If it's long term though, you should probably ask your stylist. Good luck (:

If I bleach my black hair, and then dye it a light brown, and then add heavy highlights 3 weeks later...?It will look and feel like straw. Then it will grow out and you will have to do the whole thing again. If you want a change go for something subtle- just a few highlights. It will still make a difference and you wo not wreck your hair.5. Hair dye for black hair?Personally having dark hair myself would recommend that you go to a professional. If you are trying to save money go to a local beauty school. They actually do a really good job, and are always supervised my professionals. It will be a lot less the paying a regular salon. If you really want to do it on your own, I suggest you go to Sally Beauty Salon, not sure where you live but I assume they are all over. They sell colors that salons use. Can I Get Permanent Red Velvet Colored Hair Dye?
Can I Get Permanent Red Velvet Colored Hair Dye?
You can not get a permanent dye for the bright colors. Your only options are semipermanent. However, Manic Panic lasts a really long time if you keep up with it (which is actually easy to do). There are also ways to strip the color from your hair before you dye it. My favorite is the Vitamin C treatment. Crush 12, 500mg vitamin C tablets and mix them with about 4tbsp of a deep cleaning shampoo. Massage into damp hair, put your hair in a shower cap, and leave it on for two hours. Rinse and condition. Your hair should hopefully have faded. Once you've done that, it should not take much to bleach the purple out- you could probably just use a 10vol, and you wo not have to leave it on for long if you hair has been pre-bleached. As far as the Manic Panic goes, here are some great ways to keep the color bright without having to redye it constantly: 1. Put leftover dye in your conditioner. That way, whenever you shower you are keeping the color bright! 2. Use a sulfate-free shampoo. OR 3. Use a shampoo such as John Frieda's Radiant Red that is designed to preserve red hair. 4. Do not wash your hair every day. 5. Use a dry shampoo instead of actually washing your hair whenever possible. Manic Panic is decently priced and as far as the dye goes, a little goes a long way. I have a bunch of leftover tubs in my bathroom from dyeing my hair in the past. It's not too much maintenance and even if you do not use any of the tips I gave you, it should still last a good 2-4 weeks. You can get it online or at your local beauty supply store.1. What's a really good red velvet cake recipe?Hi Hannah! I have two wonderful Red Velvet Cake recipes for you, and I've made every one of them. It's hard to say whose is best, but I might have to go with the first one. First, the cake's creator is Gale Gand, who is one of America's best pastry chefs, and also she's a friend of mine. The other cake, though, is also delicious. Here are the recipes: *********************************** FABULOUS RED VELVET CAKE INGREDIENTS: 1 cup vegetable shortening (I use Crisco) 2 eggs 1 1/2 cups sugar 1 teaspoon cocoa powder 2 ounces red food coloring 2 1/2 cups cake flour 1 teaspoon salt 1 cup buttermilk 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon vinegar WHITE FROSTING INGREDIENTS: 2 tablespoons flour 1 cup milk 1 cup unsalted butter 1 cup confectioners' sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract DIRECTIONS: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In the bowl of a mixer, cream together the shortening, eggs and sugar. In a separate small bowl, mix together the cocoa and food coloring. Add the paste to the shortening mixture. Sift the flour and salt together over parchment. Add to the batter alternately with the buttermilk in 3 additions. Add the vanilla extract. Fold in the baking soda and vinegar. Pour the batter into 2 greased 9-inch cake pans. Bake for 30 minutes or until an inserted cake tester comes out clean. Let cool on a cooling rack. Invert the cakes from the pans. FROSTING: Over medium heat, cook the flour and milk until thickened. Let cool. In the bowl of an electric mixer, cream together the butter, sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy. Beat in the flour mixture. Frost the top of the first layer with frosting and set the second layer on top. Frost the entire cake with remaining frosting. ****************************** RED VELVET CAKE WITH RASPBERRIES AND BLUEBERRIES Originally in Bon Appetit magazine This cake is a southern tradition for festive occasions. It can be completely assembled and chilled one day before serving. INGREDIENTS FOR THE CAKE: 2 1/4 cups sifted cake flour (sifted, then measured) 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 cup buttermilk 1 tablespoon red food coloring 1 teaspoon distilled white vinegar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 1/2 cups sugar 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, room temperature 2 large eggs FROSTING: 2 8-ounce packages cream cheese, room temperature 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, room temperature 1 tablespoon vanilla extract 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar 3 1/2-pint baskets fresh raspberries 3 1/2-pint baskets fresh blueberries DIRECTIONS FOR CAKE: Preheat oven to 350F. Butter and flour two 9-inch-diameter cake pans with 1 1/2-inch-high sides. Sift sifted flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt into medium bowl. Whisk buttermilk, food coloring, vinegar, and vanilla in small bowl to blend. Using electric mixer, beat sugar and butter in large bowl until well blended. Add eggs 1 at a time, beating until well blended after each addition. Beat in dry ingredients in 4 additions alternately with buttermilk mixture in 3 additions. Divide batter between prepared pans. Bake cakes until tester inserted into center comes out clean, about 27 minutes. Cool in pans on racks 10 minutes. Turn cakes out onto racks; cool completely. FOR FROSTING: Beat cream cheese and butter in large bowl until smooth. Beat in vanilla. Add powdered sugar and beat until smooth. Place 1 cake layer, flat side up, on platter. Spread 1 cup frosting over top of cake. Arrange 1 basket raspberries and 1/2 basket blueberries atop frosting, pressing lightly to adhere. Top with second cake layer, flat side down. Spread remaining frosting over top and sides of cake. Arrange remaining berries decoratively over top of cake. (Can be made 1 day ahead. Cover and refrigerate. Let stand at room temperature 1 hour before serving.) ************************************* A PERSONAL TIP FROM ME TO YOU: When you bake a cake, mix it as little as possible. The longer you beat it, the more it becomes like bread. Instead of coming out light and fluffy like it should, it comes out compact and on the dry side if you overbeat it. *************************** This should be enough recipes to get you started! Good luck, and happy baking! :)2. Does anyone have a super good recipe for homemade Red Velvet Cake ?Red Velvet Cake is so awesome! Why Won't Hair Dye Stick to My Hair?
Why Won't Hair Dye Stick to My Hair?
A common mistake people make is putting a box dye on hair their trying to make lighter when box dyes only deposit color they do not lift. Another myth is that to go lighter u have to bleach your hair or bleach it then dye it. Wrong. There's something called a high lift color. It will lift color and deposit at the same time and is less harsh than bleach. Since your hair from your roots to eyebrow is virgin hair it took the dye better. U have to strip that old color out before trying to lift it. Everything below your eyebrow is old color. They have a product at Sally's called colorfix. I hear it does virtually no damage. Use that once or twice if u need to. I suggest u grab a protein filler while your there and apply that to hair before color. Spray it on with a spray bottle, apply the color and let it process then rinse and condition or use a color sealant. Loreal hicolor is sold at Sally's and is a high lift color. U need a developer to go with it. Volume 10 is for depositing color u wo not need this for a high lift color. Volume 20 lifts 1-2 shades, volume 30 lifts 2-3 shades and volume 40 lifts 3-4 shades. Good luck I hope it comes out just how u want it!1. I NEED HAIR FOR A SEW IN?Virgin hair is hair that's loose from being processed with the entire cuticles intact. Virgin hair is loose from the next techniques; chemical healing, perming, death, bleaching or coloring in any respect. The hair is mostly unmarried drawn, which means that there are exclusive lengths inside the weft. The virgin hair after it's been reduce is washed and disinfected and ready into unmarried drawn or double drawn wefts2. Brazilian and Indian Virgin Hair is the best quality hair to use for hair extensions ? WTF?Wow, I never knew that. Cool. :)3. Will UV colored hair protection spray protect my virgin hair from being bleacher by the sun?I would think it would. Or if you are going to the beach, try putting some suntan lotion in it or wearing a hat4. anybody knows about a good treatment for a very damaged and over treated hair??Dreadlocks! or shave it off & start fresh with virgin hair, avoid processing it at all. Aussie 3 minute miracle is the best conditioner i have ever used, or the spray on leave in "hair insurance" is pretty good too, but you are talking about some pretty heavy damage. if you want the color to stay better, have a professional do it, or up the volume of your developer most black dyes come with 15-20 volume, you may need to up it to 40 volume, but this is seriously strong stuff! and it will burn your scalp if you are not careful!.5. What virgin hair type will blend with my hair?I think the best option would be Brazilian. I have natural hair that straightens pretty well also, Andy hair blended perfect with Brazilian. It has a bit of texture and it's more natural looking, in my opinion. If you're still stuck, some companies left you buy sample bundles(although it may not be cheap). You could go on Aliexpress and purchase some hair for cheap just to get a feel for it as well6. what colour should i die my hair?Your natural hair color is beautiful! Makes your eyes stand out and goes with your skin complexion really well. Its rare to see anyone with virgin hair, everyone dyes it. I think you should leave it, after the dumb emo phase dies (which should be soon) people wo not call you anything. Besides you can not please everybody, if you dye your hair a different color people will find another name to call you. But if you must dye your hair, then pick a color that's only a few shades lighter from your natural.7. How To Wash Virgin Hair-Klaiyi HairVirgin human hair bundles are considered high-quality hair. Unlike other synthetic hair varieties, virgin hair is usually unprocessed human hair obtained from a single donor. This makes virgin hair quite expensive and thus you need to know how to maintain it before and after installation. Washing virgin hair before and after installation is one of the primary procedures applied when conditioning your virgin hair to achieve a fresh and silky look. It is therefore important to know how to go about washing your virgin hair. The following steps will show you how to wash virgin hair successfully. Step 1: Prepare For All The Items You Need To Wash Your Virgin Hair While this looks so obvious, you need to have all that you need ready before you begin to wash your virgin hair. You do not need a written checklist but ensure that you have the following items ready for you: Before you start working on your new virgin hair bundles inspect them to see if they are intact. It is possible to return defective virgin hair bundles to the vendor before you unpack them and apply shampoo on them. So inspecting virgin hair bundles before washing them can save you money in case they are defective. You should always use a wide tooth or soft bristle to brush your virgin hair extensions using a bottom-up motion. This makes it easy to comb through the hair without pulling of the hair from their wefts. Using a wide tooth comb or soft bristle comb to brush the hair in a bottom-up motion also makes sure that you do not break the hair when you encounter tangled knots. For used virgin hair extensions, we recommend that you inspect the condition of the wefts. In case of broken wefts, use a weft sealant to seal the broken areas and avoid further damage as you brush and wash the virgin hair. You can also choose to reinforce the weft on your new virgin hair with the weft sealant. Step 3: Prepare The Sink Or The Washing Bowl/Bucket Here you need to have a clean sink or washing bowl/bucket filled with warm water. It is not advisable to use hot water since hot water will damage the cuticles on the virgin hair by making them extremely porous. Cold water has the benefit of keeping the hair moisturized and healthy. However, in this case, you have to use warm water. In this step hold the hair bundles by the wefts and wet them with warm water without fully immersing them in the water. This will prevent tangling and loosening of the weft. The best approach is to wet the hair by hand starting from the top down while taking care not to wet the weft too much. Following this step, you can then apply shampoo on the hair using your fingers to rub it into the hair. We recommend that you stick to alcohol-free shampoo to avoid damaging the delicate virgin hair. Having applied shampoo to all the hair carefully rinse off the shampoo with the warm water without necessarily immersing the virgin hair in the water entirely. This step involves applying conditioner on the hair by rubbing it into the hair until every bundle is soaked in conditioner. After soaking each bundle with conditioner, let the bundles stay for about 15 to 30 minutes at most and then rinse out the conditioner completely. At this point, you can place every rinsed bundle on a dry towel to drain out excess water. After cleaning the hair, lay it out to air dry taking note not to place them under direct sunlight to avoid damage. Having made the hair clean you can go ahead and use a pair of scissors or hair shears to trim split ends in case you are dealing with older and previously installed virgin hair. In this step, you need to apply essential oils on the clean virgin hair to give it a smooth, flawing, and silky look.

The only way you can really fix bleach from the ombre is to get your natural hair color dye. If you can not find it, or are unsure, you absolutely MUST consult a hairstylist or professional. She has dealt with so many cases, but they are all different so it is best to see anyone with experience. Good luck :)1. What can make hair dye darker ?Do not mix food dye. Will Chlorine Fade Red Hair Dye?
Will chlorine fade red hair dye? There are many factors you have to consider before you decide to go swimming. If when you shampoo your hair the color bleeds I would not go to the water park. Your hair fading should be your last thought, chlorine and dye are not friends. The chlorine could completely change the color of your hair. I would suggest using a swim cap or at least a bandana or head scarf to some what protect your hair and scalp. & be sure to completely rinse the chlorine out of your hair and give yourself a deep conditioning because the chlorine can damage your hair.— — — — — —what are the structural differences among chlorine atoms, chlorine molecules, and chloride ions?Chlorine Atoms -- this is *one* chlorine so 17p, 17e, 18n Chlorine Molecules -- this is *two* chlorines covalently linked (share one pair of electrons) Cl-Cl Chloride Ion -- The chlorine atom has accepted one electron from an electrophile/metal/sodium 17p, 18e, 18n, negative one charge— — — — — —Will the chlorine affect my dyed hair?the blonde will turn slightly greenish, yes. and chlorine is bad for your hair - damages it & dries it out. but if you wet your hair first, with clean tap water - your hair absorbs that water instead of the chlorinated water so it does not damage your hair or turn it green.— — — — — —My nails are so dry from the chlorine?I am a competative swimmer too; and I've seen that with all my friends too. I am not in the water that long but, you can try lotion and massaging it every night before you go to bed; and a manicure once in a while should not hurt. I've noticed with green nail polish; after getting in the water it comes off too; but it leaves like a "yellow stain" on the nails. Maybe you are also using the wrong color. If nothing helps, consult your Doctor.— — — — — —What is the best type of filter to remove chlorine from my water?Carbon filters are the most commonly used filter to remove chlorine from the water. The carbon media reduces the chlorine to chloride. I got a good filter from Isopurewater.com— — — — — —chlorine gas need specifics pleazz? Its hard to tell because you dont give the ingrediants in the second substance, but i think i know. Its called a single replacement. The chlorine is chemically combined with something in one of the products. When the products are mixed together something in one product replaces chlorine so that chlorine then is alone out in the open as a gas.— — — — — —is chlorine ductile and malleable?Ductility and malleability are properties that apply only to solids. They refer to ways something can be shaped by drawing or rolling or hammering. Chlorine is a gas and cannot be shaped. Therefore, it is neither ductile or malleable.— — — — — —How to minimize/ eliminate chlorine smell in a poolhouse?very simple get an open bag of charcoal and stick it in there and it will absorb the smell or use open box of baking soda— — — — — —Why is more 2-chloropropane produced than 1-chloropropane in a reaction between propane and chlorine?Observe a molecule of propane: CH_3CH_2CH_3. There are a total of six hydrogen atoms on the first carbon(s) while there are only two on the second carbon. This must mean that, if substitution was fair, you should get a product ratio between 1-chloropropane and 2-chloropropane a rough 3:1. However, the actual ratio is skewed towards the 2-chloropropane. Why?C_3H_8 Cl_2 xrightarrowtexthf C_3H_7Cl HClThe above reaction might look simple, but it actually has deceptively numerous steps involved. The first step is called initiation, where a photon (usually UV range) fissures the bond between the chlorine molecule (hence u2018initiationu2019, since it starts the process):Initiation: Cl_2 xrightarrowtexthf 2ClcdotBy doing so, you form two free radicals of chlorine, each with one unpaired electron. Now, free radicals are very reactive, so now you head on to the second step where it reacts with the propane molecule (this step is call propagation):Propagation: Clcdot C_3H_8 rightarrow cdotC_3H_7 HClThe above step is the important step. If you notice, there are three carbons, with two possible carbons (1st and 3rd are the same thing here, really) where the free radical can attach itself to. So, you have two possible arrangements of the carbocation:cdotCH_2CH_2CH_3 or CH_3dottextCHCH_3The funny thing to note is that due to hyperconjugation (an interaction between the sigma bond an adjacent empty p-orbital) the latter is more stable. Why is it more stable? You could see it in this way too. The carbocation has a positive charge, while the alkyl groups are electron donors (which are negatively charged). If you have more alkane groups surrounding a carbocation, it helps u2018cutu2019 down that positive charge. Carbocations | Image credit hereSince the secondary carbocation is more stable (due to greater amount of alkyl groups), it is more favoured in a reaction. As such, you see more of the latter than the former, and since they are in a transition state, reacts with the chlorine free radical to finally lead to our third step: termination.Termination: cdotC_3H_7 Clcdot rightarrow C_3H_7ClIn a summary, the secondary carbocation is more stable than the primary carbocation, hence it is more favoured in a reaction. As such, you are likely to form more of the former than the latter, giving a greater secondary haloalkane yield than primary. Why is more 2-chloropropane produced than 1-chloropropane in a reaction between propane and chlorine? Why is more 2-chloropropane than 1-chloropropane in a reaction between propane and chlorine?

They would probably look fine, not ratty or gross, but you would not get much out of them. Also, synthetic hair extensions do not last a long time. It's worth the money if you really want clip-in hair extensions without spending the ridiculous $500-$1000 at a salon

However, the Greeks being from Southern Europe, usually have a darker complexion. I am assuming she probably had either dark brown or black hair. So I strongly assume that Cleopatra, regardless of her ethnicity, had dark hair.9. dyed my hair black. want it dark blonde/golden blonde again? If bleach is out of the question... the only way to get your blond back again is to wait for it to grow out. There is no way to get your hair color from black/red to blond without bleaching it or using a color stripper. Both are rough processes on your hair. You can also go get a FULL head of foiled highlights from a salon (cosmetology schools are cheaper), but highlights can be pricey ($50-250, depending on their pricing). The full head of highlights will lighten your hair color and they can tone it to get rid of most of the red. I have not had the process done with black hair, but I've done it with dark brown hair and I ended up with a medium blond color. A full head of highlights damages your hair less than bleaching it all over. If you want to get rid of some of the red in your hair (but it will still be dark/black) get 10A demi-permanent color from Sally's beauty supply store (or another similar store). Make SURE you get a *demi* permanent and make sure you get 10A. It's labeled as a light/lightest ash blond, BUT demi-perms do not lighten your hair, it will only deposit the ash tone into your hair, which will get rid of the red in your hair. I recommend the Wella demi-permanent in 10A. I've used it lots of times before to get rid of unwanted red. Also, it does not damage your hair much if at all. Works like a charm.
Can I Remove My Hair Dye? Help?
Can I Remove My Hair Dye? Help?
can i remove my hair dye? help?i tried stripping my hair but i had black hair so it didnt work. but i guess it could go any colour if you strip it xx.— — — — — —Will black hair really look good on me?Black hair with blue eyes can look really beautiful, but if you really want to know if it would look good on you, it is about more than just your eye color— — — — — —How can I dye my brown hair back to blonde?Depending on my mood (and there are many, just like my personalities) I feel that proceeding from black hair to blonde will be like- BAM! in your face, notice me- here I am, is this particular not the greatest thing you have ever seen— — — — — —what colors look best with black hair?aqua looks awsome on people with black hair along with burgandy.any shade but the deeper the better.great fitting jeams with a dress shirt in one of these colors would look hot— — — — — —dark brown or black hair color ...can't decide..?Brown, but like really dark chocolate type brown. Black would make your skin look even more pink, i do not know if you like that, but it makes you look kinda piggish if you have pink skin and black hair, i no cuz my brother has pink skin and blond hair, and when he was like 7 he wanted to be a dracula for Halloween and we got him a black wig and he looked like a pig, and i know many other girls who made that mistake and dyed their hair black and they look dreadful. Brown will make your skin seem more tan kind of, and not really pink. But it is really your choice :) Good luck ;)— — — — — —Why dont/cant Black/African American people wash their hair every night? It's because of their black hair. Black hair is usually very dry, and shampoo makes your hair dry. So when they wash their hair everyday, they are damaging their fragile hair even more. Black hair is dry because dark hair soaks up the sun better than lighter hair. Then sun dries and damages hair, so black hair gets damaged more. Sorry about the repetitiveness, but I hope this answered your question! : )— — — — — —What is your opinion on black hair?i really like black hair. It could probably go with almost any skin tone really.— — — — — —how do you bleach black hair?1. Wash hair with shampoo and leave-in conditioner the night before applying the bleach. Since you have black hair, you will need a bleaching kit with 40 volume. 2.Put gloves on and mix the bleach solution by following directions on the package. You may want to start by putting in just on a small patch of hair first, to see how long it takes to get the color you want. Check it every 2-3 minutes. 3. Apply a towel around your neck. You may want to use something like petroleum jelly around your hair line to prevent the bleach from irritating your skin. 4. Start bleaching your hair from the back, where hair is darkest, and work toward the top. Do this by parting hair with a plastic comb in two-inch sections. Coat hair evenly with bleach. You will need to do this quickly but carefully. Do not apply bleach directly on the scalp or roots. Having a friend help is a good idea. 5. Put a plastic cap on your head. When the bleaching is almost done, carefully apply bleach on the roots of your hair without putting it on your scalp. The roots of your hair bleach much faster than the rest of your hair so do this last. 6. Rinse the bleach out when time is up, you can use white vinegar to help get the bleach out, then shampoo hair thoroughly. Apply a strong conditioner to restore moisture to your hair. Never leave bleach in your hair longer than the directions recommend because you could damage your hair. You can dye your hair right after bleaching, and if that is what you want to do, do *not condition your hair.— — — — — —How to dye over black hair?Garnier Fructis just made hair dye for dark hair. I've only seen reds though... Perhaps there are other colours? Sally Beauty Supply has dyes for dark hair only as well. Maybe you can buy a couple of those (at sallys) and then use a brown dye? *****edit: I just looked some more and found this product which is the second link. again, you can put it all over your head. for dark hair only :]

Curious About Henna Hair Dye, Answers?
Henna is basically a stain on the hair. I can not remember why, but I do know that you can not use regular dyes after using it. Just buy a rinse (semi permanent color) it will wash out in 4-6 weeks, depending on how much you wash it. That would be better that a permanent color that leaves a line. You might just want to put a few highlights in.. the grey will blend with the blonde. Also, hair color will not ruin the wave in your hair if it is natural curly. Good luck to you. If you definately want a "natural look" Do not do anything. There is nothing wrong with a few greys..even if you are young.1. Is this hair dye really good?Manic Panic is a semi-permanent hair color. It will fade and wash out rather quickly if you do not take proper care of using color safe shampoo. For reds, I suggest MajiRouge by Loreal. Its a permanent hair dye. You do not need to bleach your hair first, the MajiRouge lights and then deposits red dye pigments into your hair for the longest lasting red color. Use it with 20 volume developer.2. Advise on hair dye please!!!! ?..now it's starting to make me think that it's a virus. e_e Anyways, I would just go to my stylist and ask her. I would not wanna risk it and then have my blonde highlights turn green or something...Though that would be pretty cool. :D4. Hair was bleached then put purple then black then bleached then red... want to lighten back to my original...?You've got 2x more chemicals on your hair than I have in a year! Bad Hair Habit: Stripng Out Hair Dye Smart hair care includes what not to do. If you have a change of heart after you dye your hair a dark shade, stripng out the color will open the cuticle so much that it wo not lie as flat as before, says Kim Steckbeck, master stylist at Studio 21 hair salon in Woodstock, Ga. The result is hair damage with dry, brittle, frizzy tresses. "Black is the hardest to remove," she says. "It typically must be done with bleach. This leaves unwanted tones in the hair. Then, you must recolor to a desirable shade. This is very stressful on the hair." You can do one of two things, to remove most of that dye. 1. By using Tide detergent with shampoo Google "How to Remove Dye from Hair" or 2. By shampooing you hair mix with a bit of Dawn. Google "How to Use Dawn Dishwashing Liquid for Lightening Hair." You can also use anti-dandruff shampoo, just not the conditioner. Here's an example what hair stripng will do to your hair. It is worst than hair dyes, one from YA! "I accidentally dyed my hair this awful black, stripped it, and now it is this crunchy crispy mess!" Hair striprs are chemical treatments which are intended to strip out artificial color pigment with less risk or damage to the hair. The chemicals used are called reducing agents. Certain 'metal' striprs containing sodium sulphoites are sold for reducing hair dyed with metallic dyes, as these dyes react violently with tint stripper containing hydrogen peroxide-the subsequent reaction may cause so much heat that the hair gets dissolved. Style meets chemistry meets biology: We are talking hair coloring. Playing with chemicals is not like playing with clothes, or doing a manicure, there are penalties for playing chemicals in the lab. Even hair color experts at the salon are not rocket scientists, they do a bang up dye jobs to their clients or their own hair. Chemicals can enter the body through the skin. > > > Hair dye chemicals linked to cancer London, Feb 20, 2013 I've been saying that since 2009. Hair dyes, which include home hair colouring kits and those used at pricey salons, are linked to deadly cancer-causing chemicals, warn scientists. In 2009 the Mail revealed that women who used hair dyes more than nine times a year had a 60% greater risk of contracting blood cancer. A year later the European Commission banned 36 hair dyes which put long-term users at risk of bladder cancer.
